Uni Park

Uni Park trained at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Throughout the course of her career, this versatile actress has leveraged her dramatic talents, comedic chops, and intuitive creative sensitivity in roles that span a wide variety of genres. Uni recently appeared in American Gods (based on the award-winning book by Neil Gaiman) and guest starred on the NBC remount of Tremors with Kevin Bacon. She also has a recurring role as Mrs. Park on the highly-acclaimed CBC show, Kim’s Convenience. Uni has appeared in Principal roles on Taken, Condor, Mayday, Orphan Black, as well as many others.

Suffering physical and emotional abuse throughout her formative years motivated her to investigate the drivers of, and treatments for, sociopathic behavior. Grover Secure Psychiatric Institute was her brainchild, and Jitterbug’s complete rehabilitation evinced the validity of theories that Dahl had been positing since she first began studying psychiatry. Jitterbug was thus the denouement of Dahl’s life’s work and, over the years, the young woman became the doctor’s surrogate daughter.
